Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Marian Laura Crow Wilson, went home to be with our Lord the morning of Dec. 22, 2009, in Norfolk, Va.
Born Aug. 29, 1948, in Circle she was a fun-loving and giving person. She was always feeding friends and family as well as donating to the needy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Esua; mother, Lucy; sisters, Sarah, Martha, Mary and Inez; brother, Bobby; and nephew, Richard "Ricky" Crow.
She leaves behind three daughters, Fawn L. Jesionowski, Melanie L. Neptune and Janean R. Neptune; six grandchildren, Kayla, Tai, Cote, Charlie, Skylar and Dakota; brother and sister, Charlie and Ruth Crow; many nieces and nephews in Alaska, endless friends, and her companion of many years, Smitty of Norfolk.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 31, at Altmeyer Funeral home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, Va., with a reception following at the funeral home.
She will be laid to rest in Circle at a later date.
