I read about Roger in the Montanan magazine. Roger was a classmate of mine when he attended school in Helena, MT. He was an intelligent, energetic and athletic young man. Sad to hear of his passing at such a young age. Dominus vobiscum to his family.

My Old friend Roger. You had class and not that many people Earn that. My memories of working with you and others in the title industry in Alaska are some of my best. God grant peace to Beverly and all the family. I know he is fly fishing somewhere in heaven. Goodbye old friend. Michael, Susan and Lily Price. Fredericksburg Texas.

Dearest Floerchinger family, We send our prayers and heartfelt condolences to you all. We had no idea, and are so sad and shocked by this news. Roger was a great, honest, kind, and humorous person, and, as a young man, seemed wise beyond his years. Our family and I shared so many happy memories with him, and it seems that we and the world has lost someone very special. We share your loss, and we will do whatever we can, if there is anything you need, please let us know and we are there to help. Your family has always been so good to ours, and especially in our parents', Alice and Phil's later years.
We wish you comfort in the days that follow, and wish we could have been there with you at the service to give each of you a hug. It is very hard to write this sad note, but there is some joy in the wonderful memories of our dear Roger.
Sincerely and with love,
Jean and Jeff Lindberg and family

I knew Roger professionally, he was a big shot and I was just a courier. Never, did I feel less of a person around him. He always greeted me with a smile and a handshake. He was a very caring man. RIP Roger, prayers to your family.

My condolences to Rogers family and friends; may you all find comfort hearing wonderful stories about Roger and his lasting positive influence he had on us all. Roger was an incredible boss. He bought us lunch weekly to keep the momentum going and breakup the monotonous workweek. He took the time sitting at everyone's desk inquiring about all of our lives, partners, ideas and even issues we had. He was always open for discussions, was very smart with financial/business decisions and always remained approachable. He listened and gave his whole self to the conversation. I didn't realize he was so talented at woodwork until he showed us pictures from his projects. He seemed to have a knack for Trying something and being a natural at it. I was fortunate to know Roger at his prime- he enjoyed time in Palm Springs, coming to the office with his dog, good wine, laughing at our ridiculousness, hosting holiday parties at the office and the famous Christmas parties at Sophie Station where he was more than generous to our families. Roger was a carpenter; a talented woodworker who also built relationships throughout the Fairbanks community. He believed life was good and wanted us all to live well. In hindsight I would have asked more questions about his life's philosophies because he had this appreciation for finding time to enjoy everyday. Mr. Floerchinger, Thank you for your precious time, business lessons, generosity and kindness. We have lost an irreplaceable friend but his legacy will live on.
