Mariah Deneen Buck was born on August 8th, 1980, in Pierre, SD to Curtis and Cathy (Huber) White. Her family lived in various places in her childhood due to her father's ministry. She graduated from high school in Roslyn, SD in 1998 and from USD in 2002 with a degree in Liberal Studies.
Mariah became a missionary and traveled to Ukraine. She worked at various jobs before settling with Edgewood in Sisseton. She then took on the role of cook for the NESD Headstart program.
In 2013, she was blessed with Dredon and Jordell as foster children. In fall of 2013, she was introduced to Todd and fell in love. They married on May 30, 2015 in Hankinson, ND. She was then blessed with Todd's daughters, Paige and Madyson. Todd and Mariah also welcomed their own children, MacGyver, Jakzen, and MacKenlea. Mariah's greatest joy came from motherhood and she treasured every moment with her children and was able to become a stay-at-home mom. She added "teacher" to this title this fall when she took on the task of home-schooling all five children.
Mariah enjoyed spending time going on walks and riding bikes with her family, reading, coloring with the kids, and daily Bible study.
Mariah was preceded in death by all of her grandparents, an infant sister, Sarah, and infant niece, Mary, her father-in-law, Mervin Buck and brother-in-law, Gary Hubrig.
Mariah is survived by her loving husband, Todd; her seven children, Paige (Dakota) Harvey, Harrisburg, SD, Madyson Merrick (Special friend-Griffin Gunderson), Wahpeton, ND, Dredon, Jordell, MacGyver, Jakzen, and MacKenlea Buck.
