Altha Haun Obituary
Ms. Haun was born in Brinkley Arkansas, the daughter of the late Jesse Parks and Carrie Edith Davis.
She was married to the late Robert A. Haun, Sr. of Durham.
Ms. Haun is survived by her two sons, Robert Arnold Haun, Jr., and Walter Reid Haun, Sr.; three grandchildren, Robert Arnold Haun, III, Walter Reid Haun, II, and Christopher Parks Haun; and a great-grandchild, Natalie Grace Haun.
A Funeral Service will be held at a later date.
The family is being assisted in Durham by Clements Funeral Service, Inc.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of THE pioneer in self publishing of books for genealogists. Mrs. Haun was always helpful to younger authors just getting started in the business. Her work in Johnston County county court minutes and other records is a real treasure for genealogists and an inspiration for others to try similar work.

Dear Friend Walter.
As with many others, I do not have words adequate to express my sincere sorrow for you and your fine family nor have I words sufficient to reveal how much I feel for you and Dear Weynette's friends and associates. She truly was such a Dear, warm, generous, and totally gracious Lady!!!
She will be sorely missed by every person who ever knew her.
With my warmest regard and deepest sympathy. God Bless you all !!!!!
