Alvin Otis Dupree entered into eternal rest on April 12, 2016. He was born on August 18, 1961, in Brooklyn, NY to Roosevelt and Sarah Collins Dupree.
Alvin was a graduate of Needham Broughton High School in Raleigh, NC and NC Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, NC. Alvin was a member of Friends of Distinction and Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity, Inc Alvin worked for Rex Hospital, Northern Telecom, and the State of North Carolina and was currently employed at Shaffer Trucking Company.
Alvin is survived by his daughter Brittany Dupree, his son Redmond Dupree of the home, his mother Sarah Dupree of Raleigh, brother Jeffrey Dupree (April) of Stafford VA, sister Lisa Dupree of Raleigh, four nieces Amanda Dupree of Portsmouth, VA; Jessamyn Dupree of Alexandria, VA; Jaquetta Nixon of Murfeesboro, TN; one nephew Wesley Dupree of Tyler, TX; and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held Saturday, April 16th at 1pm at New Bethel Christian Church 4307 Old Poole Road Raleigh NC 27610.

Sorry to hear of the passing of your son, father and uncle. May each passing day come with strength to endure. (2 Cor. 1:3-5) I didn't know Mr. Dupree but I wanted to take this opportunity to offer my condolences for a fellow Aggie.
