Andy Terrell was a tribute to all good things in humanity. His kindness and quick sense of humor made being in his presence easy and welcoming.
His passing made me very sad, but reminds me to be more like he was. Kindness doesn´t cost us anything.

I met Daddy T almost 35 years ago thru his son Andy, Jr. He and Jackie always welcomed me into their home and we shared many holidays, birthdays and special occasions together . Daddy T was so kind, humourous, loved telling a joke , and playing part time detective . He and Jackie raised two amazing sons that will be part of his lasting lecacy on earth. I will miss him so much but i know Jackie. Andy, and Kjell will miss him so much more . Final goodbyes are never easy ... To a life well lived may Daddy T rest in paradise as he takes his final trip around the sun . My deepest sympathy to The Terrell family . Love each of you .

Sending appreciation and love from the Ross family. You all had so much positive influence on our youth growing up in Raleigh and at the Club. We always laugh at the mere mention of Andy, rarely a gathering that doesn´t include mention of him and the Terrell´s. I can hear the tall tales being exchanged now with Abe, Marge, Alva and Andy!

Dear Jackie, Andy and Kjell,

I was sad to learn about Andy's passing. I was blessed to have Andy as a friend and as a tennis partner and opponent. We probably played hundreds of times at the Racquet Club through the years.

Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I will never forget my friend, Andy and that he was one of the important Charter Members of the Racquet Club since its founding in 1968.

I will always have a special place in my heart for Andrew. I loved being around him and hearing his jokes.
I remember seeing Andrew one day in his yellow mustang with Decon in the car with him. When Andrew turned his head, so did Decon. It was great watching, just wish the stoplight had been longer.
He was an awesome role model for his family and friends.
