Austin Reece Baucom of Raleigh, N.C. passed from this life on Saturday morning October 22, 2016 from a fatal car accident. Austin was born on October 20, 1993 to John Robin Baucom III and Cynthia Lyman Baucom.
Austin, like his Grandmother before him, was talented at having a good time. His smile, laughter, and pranks made him the Master. He gave his heart to all he loved. He was his Mother's giggle. His light was contagious.
Surviving in addition to his heartbroken parents are his sister, Cami Baucom Pippin and her husband Sterling of Farmville, his brother and best friend Parker Baucom of Raleigh, his grandmother Marie Baucom of Raleigh, his grandfather James Johnson of Clayton, his great-grandmother Lois Honeycutt of Wendell, and his loving girlfriend Lindsey Gardner of Raleigh.
In addition, we also include all of his chosen siblings. You all know who you are.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner, N.C. A service to celebrate Austin's glow will be on Wednesday at 2 pm at Mount Moriah Baptist Church on E. Garner Road in Raleigh, N.C.

I am extremely sorry for the loss of your son. Austin has a personality that was bigger than life. He was full of joy, love and laughter and lots of pranks. His smile was Infectious. He was a great friend to my son Brandon and he will be missed greatly. You are a gracious family that allowed my son to stay over most weekends through HS and share your wonderful child. Thanks for checking up on Brandon during your time of grief, it meant a lot to him. May the days ahead of you be full of all the happy memories of Austin♡

Im so sorry for you loss of Austin. He was one special person, I can tell you that. He was visiting the beach with Nick. They can over to my house which was Cody Perrys parents house. He was a load of fun that me and my children loved. He had a way about him that warmed you inside. His smile was really and his heart full of life. He smelled the food and said I know a fat man lives here. He enjoyed his self that night and all that was at Topsail Beach that night. We will always remember him and in our hearts. RIP and my prayers are with your family and freinds.

Baucom Family,So many days of my youth were spent with your wonderful family. I have many fond memories of Austin, Parker, Lincoln, and I exploring the woods by your house or just generally getting into shenanigans.
