Service will be held at Mid-Way Baptist Church located 6910 Fayetteville Rd, Raleigh on Monday, January 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.
Donations may be made in honor of little Ava to Mid-Way Baptist Church.
Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Home.

I can empathize with the loss of your precious daughter, as I also lost a daughter several years ago. Her 9th birthday would be coming up in a few days. I can testify that God will heal your hurting hearts. Although you will never forget little Ava, and this time is very difficult for you, God will bring peace and comfort. As a testimony to His goodness, I will share with you that I now have two beautiful children through adoption. My husband and I adopted them from Ukraine when they were 15 and 16 months old. If you do the calculations, both of them would have been conceived on nearly the exact same date that our first daughter went to heaven. God is good!

I love you so much, and words can not express the ache I feel for you and Craig, as you cope with the loss of Ava. I just want you to know that there are so many people praying for you and Craig. Ona and I love you so much, and we pray for God to give you and Craig the strength to cope with the loss of your precious daughter. On July 8, 2005, Darrell, our oldest, went to be with the Lord at the age of 14. He really loved spending time with little children, playing with them, holding them, and just having fun with them. We too have suffered this devastating loss. We belong to a volunteer support group that is comprised solely of bereaved parents and want to reach out to you by letting you know about our group. We meet twice a month in Raleigh to share and give support. If you have any questions or just want to talk, please call us at 833-4022. There is always a bereaved parent on call to talk with you.
