Dear Craig and Amanda,
I met you at BBC, Savannah, and enjoyed meeting you so much, at the time, I had no idea about the loss of Ava, I don't know if it would have made any difference, but I wish our church would have known, so that we could have showed you even more love than we did. I am praying for you both, I know God has great and mighty plans for you both. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Craig & Amanda,
I can empathize with the loss of your precious daughter, as I also lost a daughter several years ago. Her 9th birthday would be coming up in a few days. I can testify that God will heal your hurting hearts. Although you will never forget little Ava, and this time is very difficult for you, God will bring peace and comfort. As a testimony to His goodness, I will share with you that I now have two beautiful children through adoption. My husband and I adopted them from Ukraine when they were 15 and 16 months old. If you do the calculations, both of them would have been conceived on nearly the exact same date that our first daughter went to heaven. God is good!

Mandy,
I love you so much, and words can not express the ache I feel for you and Craig, as you cope with the loss of Ava. I just want you to know that there are so many people praying for you and Craig. Ona and I love you so much, and we pray for God to give you and Craig the strength to cope with the loss of your precious daughter. We wish so much that we could be there with you to hold you, and help you through this difficult time. Even though hundreds of miles separate us, you are always close to me in my heart, and you will always be my greatest friend. I know it is so hard for you to find comfort at this moment, but just know how much Ava is being loved in heaven right now, as well as on Earth by those who love her. Hunter said to me the other day.."Momma I bet Jesus and the angels are having so much fun playing with Ava in heaven",and I told him how right he was. I love you so much Mandy, and my family will be praying for yours every day. Nana and Papa said to tell you how much they love you, and that if there is anything we can do for you and Craig, to please let us know.

We love you,

Craig & Amanda,

Paula and I would like you to know that our prayers are with you. The Bible reminds us, "... can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me." (2 Samuel 12:23b)

My mom went to Heaven this past Summer and I do miss her. I have the blessed hope that I will see her again one day, but I still sorrow just not to the same extent as those who do not know Christ!

May His marvellous grace overflow in your hearts today.

Craig and Amanda,
On July 8, 2005, Darrell, our oldest, went to be with the Lord at the age of 14. He really loved spending time with little children, playing with them, holding them, and just having fun with them. I bet he and Ava have met by now and are having a GREAT time together. We know that we will see them again, and they can show us around heaven. What a day that will be!!

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Dyson,
We are so sorry for the loss of your beloved baby girl Ava Patricia. There are no words that can adequately express what a profound loss it is to lose a child. We too have suffered this devastating loss. We belong to a volunteer support group that is comprised solely of bereaved parents and want to reach out to you by letting you know about our group. We meet twice a month in Raleigh to share and give support. If you have any questions or just want to talk, please call us at 833-4022. There is always a bereaved parent on call to talk with you. And please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult and sad time. All adult grieving members of the family are welcome to our group.
With love and concern,
