Ms Hardin would visit Cole Park Vet with her charming little Arnie. She was gracious and elegant and we all appreciated her kindness. Our sympathies go out to her family. Ms Hardin made an impact with her warmth towards Arnie and towards our staff. We will miss her.

Barbara and Paul were each extraordinary individual. They became even more so when they became as perfect a couple as we could imagine in bringing so much good to everything they seem to touch in life.
For those of us who were fortunate enough to know them well as friends, Paul would be the first to observe the obvious truth that he rose to such heights of public service and succeeded there because she was his rock, always steady, always solid, and always caring through every episode that called for it.
And as all can read from her obituary, she was always there for everyone else, too. Always effective in all that she led, she could, as they say, also charm a cobra. Just a delight to know.
We are grateful and blessed to have lived at the same time and enjoyed so much of the good things they brought to our world.

A dear friend and have known both Barbara and Paul upon moving to Carolina Meadows. We were in many CM organizations together and constant dinner pals, especially the wine dinner of Carolina Methods. Paul is missed and Barbara will be missed by me and all who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing her.

Barbara was an elegant, charming and gracious lady. She was the epitome of of kindness and southern hospitality. Her beautiful smile and happy expression lit up a room. She will be sorely missed by so many. Rest well, dear Barbara.

A gentle giant. A quiet force. The kindest person I ever knew. Peace.
