Billy Douglas "Doug" Parris, 75, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home on Thursday, September 21, 2017 with Dr. Steve Roy officiating.
He is survived by his wife; Linda L. Parris, sons; Tony Parris and wife Dawn of Clayton, Andy Parris and wife Tara of Wake Forest, sisters; Frances Parris of Wilson and Betty Yelverton of Eureka, brother; Edgar Parris of Elm City, grandchildren; Erin Parris, Trevor Parris and wife Jessie, Nolan Parris, great grand-daughter; Adeline Parris.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Hocutt Baptist Church 314 W. Horne St. Clayton, NC 27520. The family will receive friends on Thursday one hour prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00pm at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to the Parris family at www.mclaurinatpinecrest.com. Arrangements are with McLaurin Funeral Home, Clayton.

So sorry to hear this. Doug was a wonderful person and friend. He was a longtime member and past president of the Exchange Club of Greater Fayetteville. Prayers and condolences to the family from all of his brothers in Exchange.
