I am so sorry that I was out of town and could not attend the service for Mr. Capps. I have such wonderful memories of growing up on Pine Drive with your family and even babysitting for your children. Halloween was a special time for the Capps family and I remember him dressing up and hiding in the bushes to scare us when we went trick or treating. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

My sympathies to you and the family at this time of grief. My father, James E. Wilder, worked with Cecil for many years and considered him a personal friend. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him. God bless you all.

Dearest Jane and All the Family,
Our hearts go out to you in the loss of such a fine person. Memories from Emmanuel and your family are full of joy. Watching the children grow up in your love was an inspiration. May your faith sustain you in adjusting to life here without Cecil. Our love to all of you.

Cecil was a distant relative and I'm so thankful that through recent Capps Reunions I have been fortunate to know his family better. He will be missed. Jane, please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
