Debra George Pearce, 59, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017, at her residence. She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Lois O'Neal George and Proctor "Billy Buck" George.
A funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon May 11, 2017 at the Stony Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family would like for everyone to attend the service in casual dress.
Debra is survived by: her husband, Ricky Pearce; sons, Jason Pearce (Kathaleen King), Justin Pearce (Emily Pearce); sister, Diane Hathaway (Jimmy); grandchildren; Brett, Haley, April, Kyle and Aryn; two special friends; Deanna and Amanda Shannon.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Stony Hill Baptist Church Helping Hands 7521 Stony Hill Rd. Wake Forest, NC 27587.
Friends may visit with the family from 7:00-8:30 Wednesday evening May 10, 2017 at the Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Wake Forest, NC. (919-556-5811)

Debra was the best any most loving wife that any man could ever ask for. We met in high school in 1974 and I loved her from the first moment we met. I knew that she the girl that I wanted to marry.WE were married June 26.1976 . I look forward to the day when we can be together again.
