Don Culbreth Obituary
Don was born May 26, 1946, in Vernon Parrish, LA, son of the late Oliver Cornelius Culbreth and Catherine Jenny Johnson Culbreth.
Mr. Culbreth was born to a military family and lived in many places, but he felt most at home when fishing or in a garden.
He is survived by his wife, Carole Alessi Culbreth of Fayetteville, GA; daughter, Shelley Culbreth of Fayetteville, NC; two stepdaughters, Alisa Rodgers (Jack) of Marietta, GA, and Angel Babb of Smyrna, GA; five grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Johnson (George) of Wilmington, NC.
A memorial service was held Monday, July 3, 2006, at Highland Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, NC with Rev. Leighton McKeithen officiating. Inurnment will be in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Atlanta, GA, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Don's memory to American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Dr, Greenville, NC 27834.
