Doris Bunn Obituary
She was born September 3, 1942 in Harnett County to Culbreth and Kilty (Johnson) Barefoot. She was a loving mother and grandmother who through her life's work touched the lives of countless children. Her faith in the Lord produced a steadfast soul and gave strength to all her family.
Doris is survived by her two children, son, Brian Bunn and his wife, Elizabeth of Raleigh; daughter, Juliana King and husband, Jared of New Mexico; three grandchildren, Jordan and Isabella King, Connery Bunn; sisters, Barbara Lee of Arapahoe, Betty Lou Johnson of Raleigh, Beverly Smith of Bahama, NC.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Brenda Sease and brother, Culbreth Barefoot Jr.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church in Cary. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson at 4:00 p.m.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Rd., Cary, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Children's Home of N.C., P.O. Box 338, Thomasville, NC 27361-0338.

I knew Doris when she was a member of my Sunday School class at First Baptist Church in Cary. I enjoyed getting to know her during that time. She was a good friend. My prayers are with her family.
