Edward Webster Warsaw, 86, passed away at his home on May 8, 2008.
Born on May 23, 1921 in Burlington, VT, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Warsaw, he resided in North Carolina for the past twenty-four years.
The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road in Raleigh.
Ed is survived by his wife, Jane Warsaw; daughter, Carol Revenaugh of Kansas City, MO; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Karen Warsaw of Roanoke, VA; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and David Stump of Norfolk, VA; grandchildren Tom and Judy Revenaugh, Renee and Joe Lacik, Michelle and Jeff Fisher, Mandy and Nathan Harrison; and five great-grandchildren.
Ed received a bachelor degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After which, he was the founder and president of DataCare, a healthcare patient electronic information system.
Ed was a fisherman, who loved anytime he could spend on or near the ocean. He also enjoyed golfing and cheering for his beloved Chicago Cubs. An avid reader and political enthusiast, Ed never shied away from contributing to a debate on most any subject matter.
Mr. Warsaw's family wishes to sincerely thank the staff of Magnolia Glen, Tender Loving Care and Hospice Services, Raleigh Nephrology Associates and Doctors Making Housecalls for their compassionate care in his final days.
