Eric Dzierson

Eric Dzierson passed on peacefully at home in Raleigh, NC on November 30, 2025.

He grew up and lived many years in Johnstown, NY before moving to NC. Prior to serving two years in Vietnam as a Marine, he attended Syracuse University. Following his return, he married and moved to AZ graduating from Northern Arizona University. Then he joined his family's glove manufacturing business, Elmer Little & Sons, as a fourth generation member. He held various positions over the years, including Treasurer and President, with his final position as VP of Finance. A few years after the sale of the company, he and his wife moved to NC where they purchased and ran a livery service company at the Raleigh-Durham Airport serving the community and local universities.

He was an avid gardner/landscaper and became a fan of ACC basketball. He also enjoyed playing golf, tennis, skiing and going for long walks on the local NC trails. He was a student of Christian Science and a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, MA and attended the local branch church in Chapel Hill.

He is survived by his wife Gretchen Dzierson and daughter Heather Dzierson, as well as brothers William and Mark Dzierson and sister Andrea Coleman.
