Frances Penny Bass
February 12, 1929 - November 3, 2021
Garner, North Carolina - Frances Penny Bass, 92, entered into Heaven on November 3, 2021. She is the daughter of the late Newton Burt Penny and Lillian Mae Penny and was married to Walter Glendon Bass for 58 years until his passing in 2004. In addition to her parents, she was also pre-deceased by son, Glenn E. Bass, and is survived by her siblings, Laura Anne Hamilton, Roscoe Prince Penny and Edna Earl Butler; daughter, Janet Bass Trowbridge (Ron); sons, David B. Bass (Johna) and Jeffrey W. Bass, Sr. (Lisa); adopted grandchildren, Glendon Bass, Jr. (Copper) and Stephanie Bass Dupree (Robbie); 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton on Saturday, Nov. 6, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will take place one hour prior at 9:30 a.m. The service will be livestreamed for those unable to attend.
