Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina - Fuquay-Varina-June Franklin "Frank" Jackson, a distinguished attorney and well loved and respected member of his community, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025, at the age of 82.
Born in Dunn, North Carolina, Frank was the son of Frank Telton Jackson and Pearl Page Royal. A proud double-alumnus, he graduated from Campbell University in 1967 and earned his law degree from the UNC School of Law in 1972. Henceforth, he was an avid Tar Heel. Frank was a successful and respected private attorney for many years before he dedicated the remainder of his professional career to the Wake County District Attorney's Office, where he was revered as a skilled trial attorney. He was honored for his fifty years of service by the North Carolina State Bar Association.
Frank is survived by his wife of 36 years, Teresa Jackson; sisters, Mollie Baker and Joyce Carroll; sons, Wiley (Stephanie), and Paul (Amy), and their mother, Pam Norton; and stepson, Travis Allen. He leaves behind five grandchildren, Carter (Kay), Matthew (Hannah), Hank, Campbell, and Chance, and one great-granddaughter, Myla.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Thomas Funeral Home Chapel, 401 North Ennis Street Fuquay-Varina. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
