Smithfield, North Carolina - Guy C. Lee, age 81, died Monday afternoon, November 29, 2021 at his home. Born March 21, 1940 in the Bentonville Township of Johnston County, he was a son of the late Robey Cole and Annie Pearl Adams Lee, he was preceded in death by his wife Ann Flowers Lee on June 24, 2015. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry Leroy Lee, Albert Glenn "Toby" Lee and Thomas Cole Lee. Guy was an active member of Fellowship Masonic Lodge # 84 in Smithfield and the Sudan Shrine Club where he was one of five charter members of the Animated Animals. He was a retired A.L.E. officer and enjoyed farming in his spare time.
A Masonic graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 in Sunset Memorial Park in Smithfield. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Surviving are his sister, Betsy Lee Johnson of Benson; brothers, Robey C. Lee, Jr. and wife Wanda of Knightdale and Andy Lee and wife Renee of Newton Grove; step-son, Eddie Jones and wife Rosa of Smithfield and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children Attn: Office of Development, 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607 or The Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, https://my.simplegive.com/App/Giving/mhco.
