Doug was my project leader for several years at NC State and he, along with Jeannete were good friends for life.
I well remember our trips to the Research Stations checking the ongoing grazing projects, especially the one at Upper Mountain Res Sta when we encountered a Yellow Jacket nest.
I also remember when he and I, along with Chip took two Boy Scouts Troops hiking in the NC Mountains on Asbury Trail near Waterville NC
This good man will be remembered by all who knew him.
