Hazel Irene Engebretson Wise 87, formerly of Ahoskie, N. C. Died April 15, 2005 at HeritageAssisted Living, Yukon, OK.
Mrs. Wise was a native of Detroit Lakes Minnesota, the wife of the late Everland Thornton Wise, a retired bookkeeper for Greene-Bryant Insurance Agency, Ahoskie, N. C. and Kellogg, Evans, and White Law Firm, Manteo, N. C. and a member of Nags Head Lutheran Church.
Surviving: one daughter, Lenora Maxine Wise of Morehead City; two sons, Wesley Earl Wise of Oklahoma City, OK, Gene Harold Wise And wife, Gloria of Plano, TX; one granddaughter, Allison Elizabeth Serafin of Raleigh, NC; four grandsons, Anthony Wise and Robert Wise, both of Plano, TX, Casey Wise and wife, Amanda of Norman, OK, Jeffrey Wise of Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters-in-law, Sarah Wise of Raleigh, NC, Eleanor Faye Bennett of home town Kinston, NC.
A graveside service will be held in Highland Memorial Gardens, Ahoskie, N. C., at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2005, with the Rev. John Dutton and Rev. Charles "Charlie" Reber officiating.
The family will receive friends at Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, N.C. from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday April 19, 2005, and will assemble at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday prior to service.
