Herman Perry

1960 - 2025

Herman Grant Perry, a Spring Lake, NC native and a long time Pinehurst area resident, was welcomed home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 10, 2025. Grant was born on August 15, 1960 in Fayetteville, NC to Herman and Mary Perry.

He is survived by his siblings Roger Perry (Linda) of Chapel Hill, Gail Perry (Gary Huggins) of Helena, SC, Mitch Perry (LeAnne) of Edwards, CO, his nephews Lee Perry (Amy) of Raleigh, Ben Perry (Ashley) of Durham and Tyler Perry of Edwards, CO, his niece Jordan Perry, of Edwards, CO and multiple grandnieces and grandnephews.

Grant graduated from the American College with the professional designation of Chartered Financial Consultant. Grant founded The Partners Financial Group in 1983 and Pinehurst Capital in 1995 and was the principal of both companies until he sold Pinehurst Capital in 2020.

He enjoyed golf, quail hunting, fishing, racquetball and a variety of other sports. He was a three sport athlete at Pine Forest High School in Fayetteville. Grant was also an animal lover who was crazy about his dogs Bear and Bubba.

Grant was passionate about helping others build wealth, plan for their futures and organize their estates.

He was a man of faith who was affiliated with and served at several Pinehurst area churches. He even sang in the choir.

A service to honor Grant will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ Community Church in West End.
