Hilary Daugherty Obituary
Mr. Daugherty was a graduate of NC State Textile School and UNC Law School. He had retired from private law practice and pursued his interests in gardening and photography. Hilary is survived by his wife, the former Alice Wanner; son Bill Daugherty of Augusta, Ga; daughters Karen Thickstun of Nashville, In, Beverly Bradley of Charlotte, NC, and Emily Donawho of Dallas, Tx, and six grandchildren; a sister Gladys Cattanach of Kernersville, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Habitat for Humanity, or to a charity of your choice.

We were so shocked to hear of Hilary's passing, and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We will miss his emails and the sharing of photos.

Hilary was a very special person who has been my friend for decades. He always had a sense of humor which we shared on a regular basis. So, so many pleasant and wonderful memories we shared. His sharing of photographs was always something I looked forward to receiving. To my dear, dear friend Alice and children Rose and I send our most sincere condolences and we too share with you your loss and you are in our prayers.
