James M. "Jimmy" Dae, departed this life Monday, October 10, 2016 in Atlanta, Georgia. Memorial Services will be in Raleigh, NC on Saturday October 15, 2016 at 1:00pm at Lincoln Park Holiness Church, 13 Heath St, Raleigh, NC 27610, (919) 322-2009. Jim's arrangements will be made by Lea Funeral home in Raleigh.
Survivors; wife, Mary Dae of their home in Stone Mountain, GA; daughter, Alex Dae of the home, son, Marcus Dae of the home, brothers, Michael Dae, San Francisco, CA, Dennis Dae, Lithonia, GA, Calvin Dae, Raleigh, NC, Radford Watson, Raleigh, NC and sister Karen Davis, Raleigh, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jim was loved by many and will be truly missed!!!!

Uncles have a special role. Not being our father, they can be a friend and a supporter in a different way than anyone else in our lives. They are both a relative and a companion; one of the few people able to be both. Whether only seen at holidays or special occasion and mentor, the loss of an uncle is a particularly hard one. Their loss, however, is filled with the years of happy memories we had, and that special connection that belongs only to uncles.

So sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. Knew him very well, we attended all the same schools! He was everyone's friend and nice to people. Such a great example for all. It was great knowing him.
