Garner
James Randolph "Randy" Holding, 53, died Saturday at his residence. He was a self-employed fence installer. Randy was a very outgoing person who never met a stranger.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PMThursday, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
He was preceded in death by his father, James M. Holding.
Surviving are his son, Brandon Holding of Garner; mother, Marie B. Holding of Garner; step-mother, Dolores Kendall of Florida; brother, Greg Holding and wife, Amy of Garner; grandson, Liam Holding of Garner; nieces, Gracie and Katie Holding of Garner.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 – 3:00 pm Thursday, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SPCA of Wake County, 200 Petfinder Lane, Raleigh, NC 27603, [email protected]

I went to high school with Randy and we had a lot of good times. Greg, please know you and your mom are in my thoughts and prayers and may God comfort you during this time of sadness. Please know Randy is in a better place now and may he rest in peace.

I knew Randy from Highschool and Videoland. So many fun memories. He was such a sweet guy and, although I haven't seen him in years, we reconnected through Facebook. He will be missed by many! RIP Randy!

Randy and I went to Garner Senior High School together. I became friends with Randy when he was dating my best friend Millie Arnold. I remember so many happy memories and laughter. Randy was always a very kind person and I was glad to know him for a short time. Godspeed Randy !!!!
