Jimmie Thompson Obituary
Mr. Thompson was a native of Wake County; son of the late Robert Lee Thompson and Hattie Ellen Thompson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Carter Thompson. The Proctor Cline Class of Emmanuel UCC are asked to serve as honorary pallbearers and be at the church at 10:30 a.m.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday at Emmanuel United Church of Christ with Dr. Richard Leaptrot and Rev. C.H. Lee officiating. Burial, Lee Memory Gardens.
Surviving: sons, Terry Thompson and wife, Brenda of Sanford, Roger Thompson and wife, Janice of Denver, NC, Alan Thompson and wife, Lynna of Raleigh; daughter, Vicki McKinnie and husband, Louis C. of Fuquay-Varina; eight grandchildren; six great-children.
Arrangements by Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.
