Jocelyn Walker Obituary
July 4, 1980 - July 15, 2024
Burlington, North Carolina - Jocelyn Mary Walker passed away unexpectedly at home in Burlington, NC on July 15th. She attended Sanderson High School and graduated in 1998 and went on to attend NC State University graduating in 2022. She was a Wolfpack fan and so proud that they went to the Final Four in basketball this year. She had an excellent work history beginning with GlaxoSmithKline where she worked in marketing. She was certified in Salesforce and went on to be Salesforce Administrator at Bell & Howell. She then began as a Salesforce Administrator for LexisNexis. She attended a National Conference for Salesforce in San Franciso, the headquarters of Salesforce.
Jocelyn is survived by her mother, Barbara Poole Walker; father, A. Colin Walker; her daughter, Jillian Rule; sister, Joanna Faraby Samu (Henry and son, Heskey). She was close to her uncles: John Poole (Marilyn) and David Poole (Jackie); aunt, Wanda Poole. She also left behind many loving cousins and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.
Donations may be made to the UNC Jaycee Burn Center, 101 Manning Drive #7600, Chapel Hill, NC 27514.
