Johnny Lee Croom, 52, passed away suddenly Friday, August 25, 2017. He was born in Wake County on May 3, 1965 to Scarlet Rogers Norris and the late Don Samuel Croom. He graduated from Bunn High school in 1983. Johnny was presently employed at the Heritage Country Club in Wake Forest.
Funeral service: 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 29, 2017, Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1581 Bethlehem Church Road, Youngsville, NC 27596.
Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving: best friend; Lenka; mother, Scarlet Norris and her husband Danny Norris; son, Conner Ray Croom; sister, Tina C. Cochrane and her husband Alex of Durham; half-brother, Chad Croom of Knightdale; nieces, Mikaela Bailey, Jordanne and Alexa Cochrane.
The family will receive relatives and friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Monday, August 28, 2017 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested contributions be made to his mother, Scarlet Norris, 613 Bob Richards Road, Zebulon, NC 27597, to offset expenses and set up educational funds for his son.
