Joyce E. Perry

Joyce Ellen Perry, 74, passed away on April 6, 2009. A life-long native of Raleigh, she was born on October 13, 1934 to the late Leonard Owen Ellen and Helen Bunn Ellen. She is survived by her sons: Walter Edward “Ed” Jordan III, of Raleigh and Robert “Bob” Lindsay Jordan, of Atlanta, GA; daughter: Ellen Renee Rizzi and husband Daniel, of Cooper City, FL; grandchildren: Michael Rizzi and wife Dena and Garrett Edward Jordan; and great-grandchildren: Kaylee and Danny Rizzi. She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore Daniel Perry. Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 9th from 2-3 PM at the Mausoleum Chapel of Raleigh Memorial Park, with services to begin at 3 PM. Interment to follow within Raleigh Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Wake County – 1300 St. Mary’s Street 4th Floor – Raleigh, NC 27605. Arrangements with Mitchell Funeral Home at Raleigh Memorial Park.
