Kevin Norris Obituary
Kevin was born on September 1, 1978 in Wake County to Julian Clark Norris and Barbara Driver Norris. Kevin had battled muscular dystrophy since the age of two. He worked as a computer data entry programmer with Amtech Lighting Solutions. Kevin was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Funeral service 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 8400 Poole Road, Knightdale. Burial, Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Surviving: parents, J.C. and Barbara Norris of Knightdale; brother, Michael Clark Norris and wife, Danielle of Wendell; niece, Brianna Madison Norris; special aunt, Ella Hale of Tarboro; aunts and uncles, Mary Elizabeth O'Neal of Whitakers, Nola Bonsignore of Marietta, CA, Earl Driver of Tarboro, Pearl Dixon of Tarboro, Kenneth Driver of Asheville, Louise E. Norris of Speed; numerous cousins and special family friends.
The family will receive relatives from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Monday, January 8, 2007 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service and Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 and other times at the home, 301 Rochelle Drive, Knightdale.
Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church Building Fund, 8400 Poole Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 or to Muscular Dystrophy Association -Raleigh Chapter, 3203 Woman's Club Drive, Raleigh, NC 27612.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Kevin for several years and always enjoyed my time with him. Going out for drinks after work with Kevin and the rest of the gang was always a highlight!!! He will truly, truly be missed.

JC and Barbara,
Since Mike's mom (Ethel Eason) called Saturday and told us about the loss of Kevin we have been thinking of your family. Mike talked to me for hours about all the time he'd spent with Kevin going to movies and watching UNC games. He has especially fond memories of the phone calls after the UNC games when they were not together, (mainly when Carolina won!) His boys talked about going over to your house, playing video games, swimming and just hanging out. Our heart and prayers go out to you. Mike especially will miss Kevin and feels this loss very deeply.

To the Norris Family:
My deepest sympathies and condolences go out to you. Your son was a shining light of optimism at the workplace; and a wonderful and loyal friend to many. I am honored and humbled to know Kevin and learned greatly from him.
I am also comforted by the fact that the best UNC fan in the world now sits with the Lord and looks down on his team.
Kevin will be missed greatly at Amtech. We will keep him in our memories forever.

Kevin was such a great guy. He had the biggest heart of anyone I've ever known. He was always there for the good and the bad times. He will be missed so much. I know in my heart that he will be forever watching over us.
