August 31, 1938 - December 21, 2021
Raleigh, North Carolina - Larry Kay Poe, age 83, of Raleigh, NC passed away on Tuesday, December 21st at home surrounded by family.
Poe was born on August 31st 1938 in Clarksburg, WV to the late Roy Kenneth Poe and Ethelyn Virginia Poe. Larry was a fine friend and business colleague. He was kind and generous, always willing to share his time and experience. I remember well the software techniques he taught me. We shared many good times together and I will never forget him.

Larry was a kind soul and a true gentleman, smart but unassuming, soft spoken and equanimous, a good friend and my north star.
My heartfelt condolences to his beautiful family, we will all miss him.
