Leslie Rouse Obituary
Mr. Rouse was a member of Grainger Baptist Church, and had retired from farming.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Della Smith Rouse, of the home; daughter, Jane Elizabeth Rouse, of Raleigh; son, Les Rouse and wife, Denise, of Kinston; grandchildren, Christopher Rouse and wife, Vicki, Brandi Nicole Rouse, and Josh Earl Rouse; great-grandson, Cayden Christopher Rouse; brother, Felix Dawson Rouse, of Grifton; and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, January 16, 2011, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Reverend Benji Ramsaur and Reverend Allen Ham officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. A private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grainger Baptist Church, c/o Mrs. Esther Parris, 1758 Stony Drive, Kinston, NC 28501.

Please know that you are in my prayers. I have known (poppie) for a long time and the Rouse family. He was a great friend and the sweetest of customers.
