Linda was a very funny woman. Bill and I met Linda when she turned out to be one of my favorite professor´s wife. (Tom Walters, teacher of English and incredible, well-known NC poet.). I became the dog and duck sitter for Linda and Tom. In turn, Linda shared some of her duck eggs with us, and we borrowed an incubator from Dr. West, in Poultry Science. We hatched Howard the Duck, who turned out to be a female. She was a lovely pet, who gave us so much love. Upon her passing, we found a nest about three feet deep, with over 30 eggs, inside her pen. Linda, it was a wonderful time, thank you so much for sharing. We´ll love you forever.
