Lisa Milham Obituary
A native of Bremerhaven, Germany, she was born on May 2, 1934 to the late Ludwig and Lisa Romeike Wittig. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she ran her household with just the right amount of toughness coupled with a kind heart. An independent spirit, she could keep up with anyone. She kept her family organized with ease and still had the time to fill her backyard with flowers that she so loved.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Charles G. Milham of Raleigh; four daughters and sons-in-law, Alice and Don Topps of Knightdale, Linda and Randy Baker of Nashville, Christa and Mike Boyd of Raleigh and Sheila Borland and husband, Capt. USAF Sean Borland of Florida. Also surviving are her sister, Christa Edwards and husband, Richard of CA; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; first cousins, Ann Head of Alabama, Claudia Cox of Sanford, Nancy Baucom of Hamlet and Dot McClure of Florida; sister-in-law, Mickey Milham of Hamlet and brother-in-law, Bonner Hudson.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh.

Uncle Charlie and Family,
I am sorry to hear of Aunt Lisa's passing. I will always remember the talks I had with her in our patio when she came out to California to help my mom with Wilhelm's wedding. She gave me words of encouragement that were practical and strong, and I will never forget them. Our love goes out to you and your family at this time.
