She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Thornton. Survivors: Daughters: Sharon Wells of Sharon, MA; Mary George of Palatka, FL; Peggy Thornton of Detroit, MI. Sons: John F. Thornton of Anthem, AZ; H. Leon Thornton of Southfield, MI; Marc A. Thornton of Raleigh, NC, Sisters: Peggy Wright of Irvington, NJ; Elaine Pierce of East Orange, NJ; Aquilla Noel of Boones Mill, VA; Brothers: James H. Wright of Franklin, VA; Wayne Wright of Wirtz, VA; Warren Wright of Wirtz, VA; Coleman Wright of Wirtz, VA; Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and loving friends.
