Lynn Marks Rast, 68, passed away on Monday October 19, 2015 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday November 4, 2015 at the Edenton Street United Methodist Church in Raleigh.
A service of Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Wake Forest, NC (919-556-5811).

I only got to know and love Lynn the last few years here in Wake Forest. From the minute I met her, it felt like old friends. I am sorry that I was not able to spend more time with her but she was a very busy lady with lots of friends and lots of plans with ways to enjoy the life that she was given. Certainly a life to be emulated.

We felt a dimming of the light on Monday. Our condolences go out to her family and friends, and to her life time partner, John. The only vision of Lynn that we will remember is her beautiful face, her charming wit, and her undying love for friends alike.
