I'm so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Mae was a great and loving person. She got her hair done at my grandmas beauty shop, so she watched me grow up. I will greatly miss her.

Sheila and Sandy--I truly wish I could be with you today as you celebrate the life of the woman you called Mother and I called Aunt Mae. She always seemed to have a smile on her face and love in her heart. Saddened by her passing, I am consoled by knowing she is whole in the Lord and I hope this brings you peace also.

Sheila, I was so saddened to hear of your beloved Mother's passing. She was one of the first women I met when we moved to Raleigh and her warm welcome to the area was such a blessing. I lost touch over the years with you all but I never lost the good memories of her and of you. Martha W. Smith (formerly, Martha Brown)
