Louisburg, North Carolina - Madison Ann Nelms, 16, of Louisburg passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Born on January 26, 2006 to Adam and Pamela Davis Nelms. She was a sophomore at Louisburg High School. Madison had a contagious smile, she loved babies and children, she was often referred to as their "Little Mama". She was very talented when it came to decorating especially at Christmas. She went from a timid child to a social teenager. Madison loved everything about the beach and had a dream of one day owning her own beach home.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her sister, Emma Nelms, her grandparents, Ralph and Gwen Davis and Henry and Margaret Nelms, her aunts and uncle, Dawn Davis and Allen and Kelly Nelms, many great aunts, uncles and cousins and numerous special friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 6:00 pm at Louisburg College Auditorium with Reverends Jason Currie and David Elrod officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. There will be a private family burial at Wood Family Cemetery.
