Mark Parrish Obituary
Coats
Mr. Mark Anthony Parrish, age 53, of 612 Crawford Road died Thursday at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital in Dunn. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM Sunday at Coats Baptist Church. Rev. Jesse Mooney will officiate. Burial will follow in Coats City Cemetery.
Mr. Parrish was born December 21, 1957 in Harnett County to the late McLuin and Gwendolyn Stephens Parrish. He was an entrepreneur in concessions and real estate. Mr. Parrish was a member of the National Independent Showman's Association, the Coats Baptist Church and Sons of Confederate Veterans. He served on the Coats City Cemetery Commission and on the Coats Museum Committee.
Surviving include his Wife, Judy Norris Parrish; and Sons, Joshua Henry Parrish of Raleigh, Jonas McLuin Parrish of Coats, and Simon Bartholomew Parrish of Coats.
Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Saturday.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Coats Baptist Church, P. O. Box 297, Coats, NC 27521.

Dear Judy-You and Mark have been so kind to our family at the state fair. It was with surprise when we saw you, Mark and your son at the Harnett County Fair in May. Having experienced much trauma in our own family with the loss of our son Matthew-our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mark was truly a unique individual that made an unmistakeable impression on us all. May your memories and the love you shared endure and carry you for eternity. God bless, Robin. Emily & Adrian West

Dear Judy, Josh, Jonas and Simon,
Please know that we are thinking of you
and praying for all of you. Mark will be
missed by so many people as he was such
a wonderful all round person. Am sitting here looking at a photo of him
holding a batch of kittens when he was
maybe 11 or 12. He was so loving to
everyone and every little creature. He
is in my heart ALWAYS AND FOREVER.
