Michael Klinger Obituary
Mike graduated from Shikellamy High School in 1988. He attended Penn State, the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, specializing in graphic art. He worked for many years as an extremely talented graphic artist, creating digital layouts for magazines, branding for companies, and freelance work.. His artwork was prominently displayed at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Mike was a truly passionate individual who adored sports (particularly hockey and Penn State football) and music. But above all, he put family first. He set aside his career to be a stay-at-home dad. While family members spread apart over the years, he was the driving force in ensuring that everyone stayed in close contact. Mike had a knack for bringing people together. He is deeply missed!
Mike is survived by his wife Meg, two sons, Tyler and Chase, his parents, Jacob and Cheryl Klinger, his brother Rob (Katie), his cousin James (who was like a brother to him), several other cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor in the lower fellowship hall of Emmanuel Bible Fellowship Church (967 Mile Hill Rd in Sunbury, PA) on Saturday, November 29th at 11 a.m.). Bring a story to share.
