Michelle Lamy Pierce
October 13, 1967 - September 22, 2021
Wake Forest, North Carolina - Michelle Lamy Pierce, 53, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus Wednesday morning, September 22, 2021. She spent her last days surrounded by her loving family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Born October 13,1967, she was the daughter of the late Nancy Elliott Lamy and Michel Gaston Lamy. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Lamy, and her husband, Jimmy Pierce. She is survived by her father; her children: Brooke Putnam (Brad), Elizabeth Pierce, and Lariston Pierce; her grandchildren: Tyler and Jay; her sister Nicole Baring (Bruce) and other extended family members.
Michelle grew up in Raleigh and was a dedicated pre-school teacher for over 15 years. She had a heart for Jesus and loved to share the gospel.
Her memorial service will be Saturday, October 30th at 2pm at Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church, 3328 Forestville Road, Raleigh, NC 27616. The family wishes to thank Duke Cancer Center and Transitions Life Care of Wake County. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Transitions Life Care.
