Mollie Davis Salmons

Mollie Davis Salmons, of the Homeplace of Durham, 1002 E. Hwy 54, Durham, NC 27713 died Sunday at the Duke University Medical Center. She was born in Nash County and was the daughter of the late Burdette and Lucille Davis. She lived for many years in Kings Mountain and Gastonia, NC, and was retired from Wallace Computer Services before moving to the Triangle.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Ann Salmons (husband, Richard C. Boyd) and grandson Richard Salmons Boyd of Durham, and by her son, Joseph C. Salmons, Jr. (wife, Monica Macaulay) of Madison, Wisconsin. Other survivors include her sister, Portia (Frank) Prevo of Raleigh, her brother, Philip (Margaret) Davis, of Smithfield, and her sister in law, Jan Davis of Chazy, NY.
She was predeceased by her brother Maxwell Davis of Chazy, NY.
Memorial services are being planned for December 2, 2000 in Gastonia and Raleigh.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of one's choice in Molly's name.
