Ovie Mae Lowery

Ovie Mae Davis Lowery, 91, of 968 East Avenue, died Thursday afternoon, February 16, 2006, at Hillside Nursing Center.
She was born in Granville County, daughter of the late Cordelia Dillard Davis and Sid Davis, and was preceded in death by her husband, James Quince Lowery.
The funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock, Sunday afternoon, February 19, 2006 at Good Hope Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Lowery is survived by her sons, Donald "Bill" Lowery and his wife, Sarah of Youngsville, Spencer Lowery and his wife, Clara of Franklinton, Lynn Lowery and his wife, Elizabeth of Wake Forest; a step-daughter, Pat Cochran of Concord; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Hillside Nursing Center for all their help and kindness shown to them during the declining health of Mrs. Lowery.
