Patrick Chenery Obituary

Ted Chenery, 34, died Friday, May 27, 2005 at his home in downtown Raleigh. Born June 2, 1971, he was the son of Anna Synowiez Chenery and Peter Taylor Chenery. He attended Broughton High School.
He is survived by his parents, Anna Chenery, Pete Chenery and his wife, Margie; his son, Hunter Matthew; sister, Meg Chenery Rubenstein, husband, Marrcus and son, Jake; sister, Katie Chenery McPhatter and husband, Tommy; brother, Josh Chenery and wife,Tiffany; sister, Patricia; Hunter's mother, Sherri Chenery Hagymas, husband, Dave and daughter, Sophie; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Ted was a man of many words. He was an avid sportsman and loved the outdoors. There was never a bottle of Texas Pete he could not tame. If it had a motor he would run it. Ted had a heart the size of an elephant. He was the most unselfish person we knew. His son Hunter was the center of his life. There was nothing and no one he loved more.
We will all miss Ted forever. The world has lost a great man. Hug everyone in your family and reaffirm your love. Ted is now with the Lord and at peace.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at 3:30 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Leesville Rd., Raleigh with visitation immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Social Ministries for Adoptive Services, 3000 Highwoods Blvd., Suite 128, Raleigh, NC 27604.
