Patsy Smiley Matthews, age 77, passed away on Saturday, September 03, 2011 at her residence.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Gary A. Matthews; one son, Jeffrey Snyder of Garner; one daughter, Lisa Warlick, of Cary; one stepson, Alan Matthews of Raleigh; two stepdaughters, Bonny White and Sherry Bryant, both of Garner; three sisters, Emily Partin of Arden and Carol Moore and Linda Hulin, both of Raleigh; one grandchild, Brandy Marie Snyder; and six step-grandchildren, Bradley, Ashley, Lacey, Landon, Aaron, and Parker.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Leslie officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
