Phyllis D. Beavers

Phyllis D. Beavers, 73, of Oviedo, Florida died on November 18, 2000 in Florida. She was born on December 30, 1926 in Canebrake, West Virginia, a daughter of the late George and Lelah (Altizer) Davidson and a granddaughter of the late Nancy and Henry Altizer. She was retired from ITT North Electric. Mrs. Beavers was a member of West Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Tennessee.
She is survived by her husband, Lon Benson of Oviedo, FL; sons, Dane of Chuluota, FL,Basil Scott of Orlando, FL, and Barry of Glendale, AR; daughters, Elaine Gilbert of Johnson City, TN and Barbara Beavers-Oaksof Raleigh, NC; four brothers, Carl, Ronald, Willis, and Jude; six sisters, Betty, Brenda, Della, Irene, Jerry and Maxine; seven grandchildren, Alissa Beavers, Rachel Beavers, Andrew Gilbert, Todd Gilbert, Logan Oaks, Keaton Oaks, and Scott Beavers.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ed, Jimmy and Don.
A memorial service for Mrs. Beavers will be on Monday, November 20, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. Grandson, Andrew Gilbert will officiate at Family Funeral Care, 7565 Red Bug Lake Road, Oviedo, FL 32765.
