Raleigh, North Carolina - Assigned to the 175th Assault Helicopter Company in Vietnam, "Randy" flew over 1,082 flight hours in combat. He received the Bronze Star, the Air Medal for Heroism, and the Army Commendation Medal for evacuation of wounded soldiers. Graveside service at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC, on August 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Attendance by veterans & the public would be greatly appreciated.
