Wendell
Richard Speight Bridgers, 62, died unexpectedly on Wednesday. He was born in Chatham County to the late Dick & Jennie Taylor Bridgers. Richard graduated from Jordan Matthew on May 19, 1974 then perused his life long career as an electrician. He worked for Quality Textiles. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 34 years, Sandra Ellington Bridgers & brother, Joseph Bridgers.
He is survived by his children, Shane Bridgers, Jennifer Brown (Dustin), Justin Bridgers, great granddaughter, Nevaeh Sky, many nieces & nephews.
Flowers or memorial gifts are welcomed.
