I am so very sorry for your loss I met MR. Taylor back in the 1980's I worked at that time at a convenient store on Cartridge Rd. here in Lumberton, I would be decked out a lot in my Tarheel gear and MR. Taylor would strike up conversation with me I enjoyed talking with him so much & one day He asked me had I ever been to a Tarheels game & I said no, I could never get tickets, well Mr. Taylor seen to it that I not only went to 1 game but 2 games that year, I was like a child on Christmas day. The years has passed & I been all over the place & lost contact but almost every time I watched the Tarheels on TV or went to a game in person I always thought of MR. Taylor the memories was fond the conversations was so warming, To you the Family I can't tell you again how sorry I am for your loss I know that MR. Taylor will be watching over each and everyone of you from Heaven. God Bless You All and Rest in Peace MR. Taylor

I am so fortunate to know Dick and Lenore ! They treat me as one of their own. I took it on myself to contact fellow CAR GUYS , to announce the sad news, and let me tell you, it took me around the world ! Dick was genuine and , grateful to a younger man when I had the honor of restoring cars for he and Lenore. Few show the respect and appreciation for our hobby/ profession. What a GENT !

To The Family: Our hearts are extremely saddened to learn of Dick's passing. I knew him since the early 50's when he sold Studebakers. Each trip to "Dick's" over the years has always been an enjoyable one. I have nothing but good memories. It was truly an honor and a privilege to have known him all of these years! He will be missed but not forgotten by all who knew him; for all of his good and gracious deeds, and the way he treated people. They definitely "threw the mold away" when he was born. May GOD continue to bless each of you, just as Dick did over his many years of service.
Sincerely,
Larry & Dixie Holcomb

Dick Taylor touched many lives. He was a friend and has left a mark on this world. They just don't make gentlemen like him anymore! May God bless his family with His peace.

Extended condolences to the Taylor Family with thanksgiings to GOD for longevity! Musingly, Mr. Richard "Dick" Taylor and I crossed paths at occasional social events, but we were regulars at the Lumberton Post Office. He was a sharply dressed gentleman during our pleasant and cordial post office greetings. His physical presence is already missed! Blessings to the Taylor Family to be strong in the Lord and not in yourselves.
Prayerfully yours, NLB
