To the Chapman Family, my prayers for your Dad and for all of you. I knew your dad from church at St Mike's. Usually saw him at the 10:30 Sunday Mass. One day, several years ago, he bumped my car and really did no damage but was so kind and always sorry for what he did and insisted he give me some cash for the trouble, which he did , and he would not let me refuse to take it!! He always went out of his way to say hello to me and my family, was always kind to us and made me smile by many of his thoughts and comments. He also seemed to have quite a good memory and always called us by first name. Although I didn't know Bob beyond that , what I admired about him was that he seemed strong in his faith and "stubborn" in a good way in regards to what he believed was Right and Good! I am not surprised he was a decorated military man who served our great country. I thank him and all of you for that and respect him deeply for his service. God Bless you all and my prayers continue for Bob and all of you. He's praying for all of us now and at Peace with Christ and all the Saints!
Blessings to you all
In Christ

Bob,
When I heard you were really bad off around Thankgiving, I wanted to send you a card to say this, but with most good intentions...tomorrow never comes. So I'll say it here.
You had a 1985 Caprice Classic parked in your carport that you were not driving. I asked you for over a year to sell me that car, but you always politiely refused. Then one day out of the blue, you called and asked "when was I going to come and get the car?" I said "how much do you want for it?" Your reply was "I didn't ask for money...I asked when you was going to come get the car?" I finally convinced you to at least let me pay for the new tires and battery that you had just put in the car. As it turned out, my family got many dependable miles out of that car driving back and forth between Maryland and NC.
So I just wanted to say..."Thank you Bob for your act of kindness." I will always remember that.
